allow each act to busk on the day. Please enclose payment with this application. The registration fee allows you to busk freely in the areas designated by
the festival committee. If this
entry form has been faxed or emailed, please note entry for the day will not be
processed until payment has been received.

Terms and Conditions for Buskers entering Competition.
Registration: Registration will take place in Registration tent next to the main stage, where
you will receive a Festival information pack. All Buskers' will be required to register. Entrants to the Busking Competition should register 30 minutes before
their allocated performance time, or risk loosing their spot in the competition.
Competition: A full application form (both sides), with all details filled in must be
returned to the “Competition Manager” Korumburra Buskers' Festival, PO. Box 417,
KORUMBURRA, 3950. or email to: neomortalgirl12@hotmail.com by no later than Friday 26th October, 20012. If emailing, signatures are required before performance takes place.
The Busking Competition comprises of 2 parts. Buskers' will
play for 15 minutes at their designated time and place (see Festival Information
Pack for more details). They will be
judged and category winners will be awarded. The category winners will then perform in the Saturday afternoon “Busk
Off”, competing with other finalists for the title of the “junior” and “open” Korumburra Buskers Festival Grand Championship Award.
Song Writing: A
recording of your chosen song must be sent to the “Competition Manager” by
Friday 26th October, 20012. Finalists chosen are required to perform their song (or organise for
others to perform it) on the main stage at Coal Creek, on the afternoon of the
Buskers' Festival.
Guidelines for performers: Buskers are given a 15 minute performance session for the purposes of the
competition. (please see information
pack for alternative places to busk). Buskers' must always perform in a safe manner so as not to endanger
themselves, the public or other property. Busker's performances must at all times contain material suitable for a
family audience. The use of
offensive or threatening language or gestures will result in disqualification. The South Gippsland Buskers' Festival Committee reserve the right to
amend the conditions at any time. The South Gippsland Buskers' Festival Committee reserve the right to reject any
competition entrant. Buskers will at
all times ensure that their behavior will not bring the organisers into disrepute. Buskers will be
required to display a buskers permit on their person at all times.
Insurance: All
Buskers are advised to have current liability insurance and instrument insurance
if applicable. Buskers without their
own insurance must accept responsibility for their own performance and
equipment. South Gippsland Buskers'
Festival Inc. will not be liable for any damage, loss, theft or injury to
applicant/performer or their equipment. South Gippsland Buskers' Festival Inc. will not be liable for any
personal injury to the applicant/performer incurred during the busker
performance.
Voting System: Judging
will take place throughout the Busking Festival by an appointed judging panel. Finalists(category winners) are invited to perform in the afternoon
concert at Coal Creek for the Grand Busking Championship Award. The Grand Busking Championship will only consist of category winners. The Judges decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
